This blended 60-hour pre-license principles of real estate course prepares students to become real estate sales agents in the State of Mississippi.
The goal of the 60-hour principles of real estate sales agent course is to familiarize the student with key concepts in the areas of real estate and real estate law, finance overview, agency law, lending overview, common law and statutory law, and state real estate rules and regulations. Moreover, the course explores a full range of real estate principles and application of real estate ethics.
The student will complete 40 hours of the course at his or her own pace. Over the course of the four weeks, the student will also attend 20 hours of live online class covering the more advanced topics and Mississippi state law. Attendance is mandatory for all live class sessions. Class times are from 6:00p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Specific days and dates to be determined. There will be one additional live class day held for a review of the state licensing examination. This review is OPTIONAL.
